About the role
As a Road/Earthworks Designer, you work with design in breadth – from concept and feasibility studies to detailed design. You prepare tender documents, create plan and profile drawings, perform quantity calculations, and write technical descriptions.

You are involved from start to finish and work on all parts of a project, together with experienced colleagues in a broad section. The assignments range from large infrastructure projects to the green industrial transition and municipal assignments.

You start in the role of designer – and if you wish to take the step towards Technical Manager over time, there are good opportunities to grow into it once you are comfortable in the role. If you prefer to continue developing as a designer, that is equally welcome.

Summary of responsibilities:

• Design roads, earthworks, and infrastructure – from concept and feasibility studies to detailed design
• Prepare tender documents for procurement
• Create plan and profile drawings as well as quantity calculations
• Write technical descriptions
• Work with BIM and digital tools, such as Novapoint, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and OpenRail

We are looking for someone who has

• Post-secondary education in earthworks, infrastructure, construction, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in design within roads, streets, or earthworks – from client side, contractor, Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration), or consultancy
• Experience with AMA, CAD, and BIM
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience working as a consultant
• Familiarity with Novapoint, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or OpenRail
• Experience within water and sewer (VA) or landscape design combined with earthworks
• Valid driver's license (Class B)
